Bertrand Born is Senior Portfolio Manager for Thematic Equities and manages Swisscanto's sustainable equity strategy on the investment theme of the Digital Economy.

Before joining Zürcher Kantonalbank in 2024, he was a Senior Portfolio Manager for actively managed global equity funds at DWS Deutsche Bank. Prior to that, he worked for Sony Playstation as a Strategy and Business Development Manager and as a Financial Controller. He holds an MBA in Media Management specialising in digital media, and a degree in international business administration. He has published a book on digitalisation and convergence. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Certified ESG Analyst (CESGA).
